As our new IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist, you’re managing and evolving the hybrid infrastructure that supports everything from real-time trading and analytics to internal systems and external customer platforms. You’re already hands-on with virtualized servers, cloud environments, network architecture, and automation and you’re trusted to keep it all running with excellence and intention.

DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE

You're operating at the heart of our tech landscape, where uptime, performance, and resilience are non-negotiable. You’re collaborating with developers, analysts, and external IT partners, while driving improvements that go beyond maintenance and into long-term impact.

Your mission is to :

• Operate and maintain infrastructure across Windows and Linux (Ubuntu), including virtualization via Hyper-V
• Manage network layers from Cisco switches and VLANs to VPNs and Palo-Alto firewalls in collaboration with vendors
• Monitor system health and performance using Datadog and Grafana and act before things break
• Safeguard continuity through solid backup and recovery setups (Veeam, Azure Backup)
• Automate repetitive processes and support our Azure cloud operations with PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Administer and troubleshoot databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Percona MongoDB) and message queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
• Drive adoption of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes as part of a more scalable infrastructure journey

You will also take part in an on-call duty rotation as part of the role.

You’re joining our IT Infrastructure team, currently 3 strong and expanding to 5 team members. Together, you’re owning and operating the digital foundation of Mind Energy and making sure it’s ready for growth, change, and complexity. You’re planning and prioritizing through a shared backlog, balancing daily operations with project-based improvements. While you’re covering the full tech stack, you’re also going deep in your specialty, whether that’s automation, networking, observability, or cloud. You’re working transparently, supporting your teammates, and learning as you go. This is a place where infrastructure is treated with respect and where your ideas shape the system.
