Strategy & Operations Analytics Specialist

Step into a role where you will act as strategic sparring partner and coordinator supporting our senior level management team in our production company (PCO) in Thyregod. Utilizing your advanced analytical skills and your technical insights in operations and supply chain, you will have a pivotal role in identifying and realizing opportunities for optimization, and you will work to ensure that strategic initiatives are anchored and executed locally in the production facilities.

Meet your future team

Based at our offices in Thyregod, you will be part of an office environment populated by the location management team, logistics, finance and administration. As you will support the General Manager and his leadership team, you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the site – colleagues in production, project managers, finance, VOS colleagues (our LEAN team) and of course the location management team .

What we offer

In the role as Strategy & Operations Analytics Specialist, you will report to and collaborate closely with the General Manager at our production company in Thyregod. You will be a trusted strategic sparring partner, providing the General Manager and his leadership team with insights and decision material to support their decision making. Furthermore, you will have a pivotal role in coordinating and ensuring execution of key strategic initiatives together with relevant stakeholders.

More specifically, your tasks will be to :

Collect data from production and related support functions, and conduct analytical work to uncover cost optimization potentials, e.g. relating to capacity management, make-vs-buy decisions, automation opportunities, technology replacements etc.

Develop business cases and scenario planning and present findings and recommendations to General Manager to align on initiatives to be implemented

Collaborate closely with Finance team and Operational Excellence team to ensure efficient implementation and follow up on strategic initiatives

Ensure that global initiatives from Operations & Supply Global strategy are executed locally at the production site in Thyregod

Engage in the Global Strategy & Operations Analytics network to exchange knowledge and best practices

Moreover, we expect that you :

Hold deep technical insight into one or more areas of supply chain, e.g. manufacturing processes, logistics, procurement etc.

Bring some years of experience in strategic project management and has a well-developed project management toolbox

Hold a solid financial foundation, refined analytical skills, and consulting experience, along with a nuanced understanding of business operations

Hold knowledge of or experience in LEAN

Thrive in a collaborative role engaging that interfaces with an array of stakeholders across operations and production

Can challenge our technical departments and bring a holistic, strategic perspective
