Responsibilities
As an Account Manager you will be part of the Grid Automation business unit. You will lead sales process for existing clients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Hitachi’s current clients. You will be responsible for selling products and Systems within the entire Grid Automation business unit product portfolio.Some of your main responsibilities will be :You will be responsible for selling products and systems (primarily RTU, SCADA, Enterprise Software, and Grid Edge Solutions (Battery Systems))Driving the process from start to finishVisit customers in order to nurture long-lasting customer relationshipsEngage in dialogue with factories and external partnersResponding to RFQs and preparing quotes for customersFollow-up on quotesNegotiating contracts and occasionally updating framework agreementsCoordination with project managers and specialistSubmitting assignments to the engineering departmentProfile
Must haves :3+ years of experience within sales / account management.Experience within the automation business area, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of transmission and distribution customers.Educational background within electrical engineering.Nice to haveGood understanding of law and finance.Financial understanding for budgets and experience within procurement is considered a plusA bachelor’s degree within an electrical engineering. For example, you may be a trained electrical engineer, electrical installer or electrician with a master's degree in mechanical engineering.Benefits
