A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Service Support Manager, you will support our customers in caring for their rotating equipment’s such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors of any size. This could be from a few hundred kW up to large units with several hundred megawatts. Being able to act as a trusted adviser in matters of technical and maintenance is crucial in this role. You can also rely on a wide range of experienced colleagues in our global team, mainly in Europe, but also worldwide.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Service Support Manager, you will be the face of Siemens Energy in front of our customers, clarifying their needs for service on rotating machinery and translating these needs into service offers in close cooperation with dedicated colleagues in our factories and service workshops.
After receiving an order, you will coordinate the execution of the work comprising ordering of spare parts, workshop repairs, site activities including dismantling and reassembly of the equipment using field service staff from our factories as well as from local suppliers.
Coordinating site activities and close contact with customers is a vital part of your daily work.
Maintaining close contacts with international colleagues and experts is an important aspect of this role.
