DoE & Parametrization Engineer

At MAN Energy Solutions Test Centre in Frederikshavn we are Testing both our Serial Produced High Speed Engines and GenSets, as well as our R&D Prototype engines. We are looking for a colleague in our R&D Test Team of 10 Engineers, for helping us with Engine Parametrization via Design of Experiments. You will be a key player in Setting up the Automation of the Engines based on Learnings from DoE analysis.

You will play an important role in..

As DoE & Parametrization Engineer, you will :

• Perform R&D tests on model based engines, via design of experiments
• Calibrate engine to meet expected and correct performance
• Adjust, calibrate, store and maintain engine control parameters
• Evaluate test results
• Communicate test results to our Design colleagues
• Plan test set up of test engines
• Travel to our German colleagues for knowledge sharing by presentation of test results
• Occasionally travel to Field Test Vessels for field test tasks
• Will on rare occasions work the evening shift, when needed for reaching our test results
