Technical Project Manager

You will join the Industrial Engineering team, consisting of 4 Technical Project Managers and 11 Industrial Engineers. The team is defined by complementary skills, strong collaboration, and the ability to bring out the best in each other. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that new products and equipment are introduced efficiently into production at our site in Skjern, contributing directly to VELUX innovation and operational excellence.

What we offer

In Skjern, we play a strategic role in bringing new products and technologies to market. As Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in integrating new equipment, driving process improvements, and ensuring that technology upgrades support a smooth and efficient manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include the management of cross-functional technical projects, covering both new product introductions and optimisation of existing production equipment. You will identify and mitigate risks, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery on time.

More specifically, your tasks will be to :

• Plan projects by defining goals with internal stakeholders, establishing timelines and budgets, and performing risk analyses
• Lead project execution by delegating tasks, monitoring progress, making decisions, and escalating issues when necessary
• Report project status to sponsors and relevant stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvements by sharing lessons learned across the organisation
• Prepare technical requirement specifications and decision material, for example for the purchase of manufacturing equipment
• Develop technology concepts in close collaboration with internal and external partners

This role requires approximately 5–10 days of travel per year, both domestically and internationally.
