Are you ready to step into a broad and exciting role responsible for leading the Finance function at Syntese A / S, a manufacturing site within the Ferring Group? Do you bring the needed experience and expertise to manage site controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting into the Group Finance function, as well as ensuring compliance with Danish legal, tax, and audit requirements for the local legal entity?

Syntese is a part of the Ferring Pharmaceuticals global matrix. We are renowned worldwide for our reliable production of high-quality Mesalazine, an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) used in treating inflammatory bowel diseases.

At our manufacturing site in Hvidovre, you will head up our Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain office, consisting of 3 full-time team members and one student, reporting directly to the Managing Director of the site.

Your day at Ferring

As Head of Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain, your responsibilities include :

Financial Leadership & Controlling

• Lead the site’s financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.
• Manage and report monthly results to Group Finance, including analysis of variances and manufacturing performance.
• Own product costing models and evaluate cost drivers and manufacturing variances.
• Deliver monthly reporting packages and support performance dialogue with cost center managers.

Legal Entity Compliance & Statutory Reporting

Further, you will manage the partnership with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider across the P2P, O2C, and A2R processes, ensuring seamless transactional finance operations. You will oversee the entire Procurement function, driving sourcing activities, leading contract negotiations, and managing key supplier relationships. Additionally, you will lead outbound supply chain planning by coordinating order fulfilment, inventory alignment, and logistics interfaces to support efficient delivery performance.

As a leader, you will manage and develop a team of Finance professionals and functional leads, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and structured development planning.

Your daily work will be performed on-site in Hvidovre, with flexibility to work from home approximately once a week.
