Be at the forefront of creating exceptional user experiences and visually engaging interfaces that redefine how people leverage AI and premium features to discover and savor wine. As part of our innovative Design Department, you will lead end-to-end design processes for our strategic Freemium and Premium offerings, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to transform Vivino's value proposition and build user confidence through technology. With a focus on strategic, insight-driven design and an eye for detail, you will continuously iterate and improve experiences that align with Vivino's brand vision. Showcase your expertise in advanced UX / UI design, AI interaction modeling, and strategic problem-solving, and be instrumental in revolutionizing the world of wine through extraordinary user experiences at Vivino.

Located in Copenhagen, Denmark, you will work closely with the Director of Design and our Senior Product Managers (among other key stakeholders). As our Senior Product Designer, you will drive customer-focused product development, directly addressing our most significant strategic business opportunities in subscription growth and AI innovation.

More specifically, you will be responsible for the following :

Lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation to execution, for all freemium and premium features, enhancements, and redesign projects, focusing on maximizing subscriber value

Design cutting-edge features such as the Vivino Sommelier, personalized recommendations, and contextual chat interfaces that build user confidence and adoption

Create and refine product flows that strengthen the connection between free and premium users, helping them understand Vivino's value at every stage of their experience

Translate complex data, behavioral insights, and research findings into clear, emotionally resonant, and measurable product experiences that drive meaningful outcomes

Produce high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate both technical functionality and narrative intent

Maintain high design quality and consistency across platforms while actively contributing to Vivino's evolving design system

Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Researchers to prioritize and design for impact, ensuring solutions are feasible and measurable

Participate in design critiques, sharing constructive feedback and helping raise the overall craft, impact, and clarity of Vivino's product design

Collaborative, valuing teamwork and constructive critique, and driving cross-functional alignment

You will be instrumental in launching new AI-driven experiences (e.g., Vivino Sommelier, personalized recommendations) that users describe as helpful and human, and which demonstrably drive key business metrics. Ultimately, your contributions to the design system will enhance design quality across teams, enabling Vivino to feel not just functional, but like a trusted companion for everyone who loves wine.

Furthermore, we would think you can demonstrate the following :

Several years of experience in product design for consumer digital products (mobile-first expertise is required)

Demonstrated success designing for complex user flows within freemium, subscription, or loyalty-based products

Proven experience designing AI-powered user experiences (e.g., chat interfaces, personalization engines, or complex recommendation systems) is a plus

A strong professional portfolio showcasing UX / UI excellence and clear evidence of measurable business or engagement impact

Expert proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools

Familiarity with experimentation, A / B testing, and a track record of using data and behavioral insights to inform design iteration

Experience working closely with cross-functional Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to deliver polished designs at scale
