As a Student Worker in the Business Controlling team at Siemens Gamesa, your day will revolve around supporting financial transparency, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making. You will gain practical experience with financial processes in a global organization and learn how structured financial data supports operational excellence across the business.

Working closely with experienced controllers, you will take part in reporting cycles, cost analyses, budgeting activities, and ad-hoc financial tasks. As our department’s scope has expanded, we are now looking for a Student Worker who can take ownership of a project focused on improving cost transparency and aligning financial data structures across systems. In this role, you will also gain experience in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across finance, operations, and procurement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support monthly reporting activities, including data collection, validation, and consolidation.
• Assist in preparing cost analyses and business performance dashboards in Excel and Power BI.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting tasks, helping ensure accuracy and alignment across departments.
• Perform financial data clean-up and help improve data structures to strengthen reporting quality.
• Support ongoing controlling projects, such as cost center reviews, internal documentation, or process optimization.
• Take responsibility for a project focusing on increasing cost transparency and improving data flows between finance and operational teams.
