Job Description
Pas Normal Studios is looking for a Head of Global Partnerships & Activation to lead the next chapter of our sponsorships, teams, ambassadors and partnership activations globally.
As Pas Normal Studios continues to grow, our presence within professional cycling, racing and cycling culture is becoming increasingly important. We are looking for someone who can shape that direction, deciding where we should show up, who we should build relationships with, and how we turn those relationships into meaningful brand and commercial impact.
The role
You will set the global direction for sponsorships, professional teams, PAS Racing and ambassadors at Pas Normal Studios.
You will identify and evaluate new opportunities, lead negotiations and relationships, and ensure the partnerships we enter are strategically relevant, commercially sound and activated with purpose.
As our ambitions within professional cycling grow, you will play a central role in developing our approach to WorldTour and professional team partnerships, from negotiations and rights management to athlete relationships, product integration and activation.
You will lead a small team responsible for bringing this ecosystem to life across markets, community, retail and content.
Your responsibilities
- Own the global strategy for sponsorships, professional teams, PAS Racing and ambassadors/KOLs.
- Identify, evaluate and prioritize new opportunities based on brand relevance, sporting credibility, cultural impact and commercial potential.
- Lead negotiations, contracts, rights and long-term relationships with teams, athletes, ambassadors and sponsorship partners.
- Develop and manage PNS's approach to WorldTour and professional cycling partnerships, including rights, athlete integration, product, content and activation.
- Own the strategic direction of PAS Racing, ensuring the program strengthens PNS's position within performance cycling.
- Lead the global ambassador and KOL program establishing a clear structure across global and local relationships.
- Ensure partnerships, teams and ambassador relationships are translated into strong activations across content, community, retail and key markets.
- Set clear objectives, budgets and KPIs and continuously evaluate the impact and value of our investments.
- Work closely with Brand & Creative, Communications, Digital, Retail, Wholesale and Commercial teams to ensure initiatives are integrated into the wider brand and commercial direction.
- Establish clear processes, ownership and ways of working across global and local teams.
- Lead and develop the Partnerships & Activation team.
Who you are
You are a strategic relationship builder with strong commercial judgement and a deep understanding of how sport, athletes and partnerships can build brands.
You know that a strong sponsorship is more than visibility or logo placement. It requires the right property, the right rights, strong relationships and a clear plan for how the partnership comes to life.
You are equally comfortable negotiating with a professional team or athlete representative, shaping a multi-year partnership strategy and working with internal teams to turn that relationship into something people can experience.
You understand cycling. You know the professional cycling landscape, its teams, athletes, races and stakeholders, but also the culture and community that exists beyond professional racing. You understand what credibility means within cycling and how a brand can contribute to the sport rather than simply appear within it.
You bring
- Minimum 10 year’s experience within sports marketing, sponsorships, athlete/team partnerships or partnership activation.
- Strong knowledge of cycling and the professional cycling ecosystem is required.
- Direct professional experience within the cycling industry, professional cycling, teams, events or cycling-related partnerships is required.
- Experience negotiating meaningful partnership agreements, contracts and rights packages.
- Experience working with professional teams, athletes, agents, event organizers or sports rights holders.
- Strong understanding of how sponsorship rights can be activated through content, community, retail, digital and physical experiences.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to evaluate both brand and business value.
- Experience managing significant budgets and measuring partnership effectiveness.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience leading people and working across international teams and markets.
- The ability to bring structure, clarity and accountability to a fast-moving environment.
The team
You will lead a team spanning partnership and brand activation, marketing coordination and PAS Racing, working closely with teams across the wider organization.
The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is based at our Copenhagen headquarters.
What do we offer?
We are driven by our core values of passion, performance, and accountability. Our mission is to challenge ourselves to bring the best possible products to cycling communities all over the world.
We want work to be fun and inspirational. Be able to challenge the status quo, grow and learn as a team and as individuals. You will join a truly international, progressive, and result-oriented team as we continue our ambitious growth journey over the next years.
How and when to apply
Please send your CV and cover letter no later than October 15. We will review and react to applications as they are received. All inquiries are treated confidentially.
