Regional Purchasing Manager - for Denmark residents only

Regional Manager - Purchasing at Liftra ApS (Location - Denmark) Do you have solid experience within operational purchasing - and are you motivated by both building strong processes and leading the day-to-day purchasing operation? Liftra is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead and further develop our regional purchasing function. The position is based at Liftra's headquarters in Aalborg, Denmark Liftra develops and delivers innovative solutions for the wind industry, supporting the installation, service and maintenance of wind turbines. We operate in an international and project-driven environment where reliable material supply, strong execution and close collaboration across the Supply Chain are essential. The role As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our regional purchasing team and ensuring reliable material supply to our operations. A key part of the role will be to further professionalize the purchasing function by establishing clear processes, priorities, KPIs and ways of working. You will build structure and implement practical best practices while at the same time ensuring strong daily execution. As the function develops, you will continue to own and drive the operational purchasing agenda, developing the team, processes and ways of working in line with the needs of the business. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead, support and develop the regional purchasing team. Drive daily purchasing execution, supplier follow-up and expediting. Manage shortages, delayed deliveries and operational escalations. Establish clear priorities, KPIs and a strong daily and weekly management rhythm. Develop and implement effective purchasing processes and best practices. Work closely with Planning, Order Management, Production, Procurement and other Supply Chain functions. Use ERP data, root-cause thinking and continuous improvement to strengthen flow, predictability and performance. Be an active part of the global Supply Chain function. The role has a clear operational focus, while strategic supplier and commercial decisions remain anchored within procurement and the overall Supply Chain leadership. Who are you? You have solid experience from operational purchasing and Supply Chain, preferably within an industrial, engineering or project-based organization. You have experience leading people and understand how purchasing impacts planning, production, inventory and ultimately customer delivery. You are structured and hands-on, comfortable taking ownership and following through when things do not go according to plan. At the same time, you have the experience and motivation to look beyond today's challenges and build processes that create a stronger and more reliable purchasing operation. Most importantly, you are motivated by both sides of the role: developing and professionalizing the purchasing function - and taking long-term ownership of running and continuously improving it.
