We are looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join the Organic Discovery team at Transact, part of Omnicom Media. You will work across technical SEO, content strategy, performance analysis and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), helping clients navigate a rapidly evolving search landscape. Working closely with the SEO Director and wider team, you will contribute to client strategy while remaining hands‑on with delivery. This is a varied agency role that requires strong prioritisation skills, commercial thinking and the ability to deliver high‑quality work across multiple clients and projects. Your role As Senior SEO Manager, you will develop and support Organic Discovery strategies that drive visibility, traffic and business results. You will work across technical SEO, content strategy and performance analysis, translating data and insights into clear recommendations and action plans. You will also help clients understand how AI-driven search and Large Language Models are changing discovery and content requirements. The role combines strategic thinking with practical execution and offers the opportunity to shape how we approach GEO and emerging search behaviours. Key Responsibilities Develop SEO and Organic Discovery strategies across technical SEO, content and AI-driven search. Create content strategies and roadmaps based on audience needs, search demand, competitive analysis and business objectives. Deliver technical SEO audits and recommendations covering areas such as crawling, indexation, site architecture, internal linking and structured data. Analyse performance data using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush and Screaming Frog to identify opportunities and diagnose performance changes. Support the development of GEO and AI search capabilities through research, testing and experimentation. Create compelling, client‑facing presentations that translate complex analysis into clear recommendations. Participate in client meetings, workshops and presentations as a trusted SEO advisor. Collaborate with specialists across paid search, social, analytics and media. Support colleagues through knowledge sharing, feedback and mentoring. Who are you? We Imagine You Have 4-5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or multi‑client environment. Have strong technical SEO, content strategy and analytical skills. Can turn complex data into clear insights, recommendations and business impact. Have experience developing content strategies based on audience behaviour, search demand and performance data. Are familiar with GEO, AI search and Large Language Models, and eager to deepen your expertise. Are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets. Have strong PowerPoint and presentation skills. Can confidently communicate with clients and stakeholders of varying technical knowledge. Thrive in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities. Enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge and supporting others. Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of one or more Nordic languages is a welcome bonus. You do not need to know everything about GEO and AI search. What matters is a strong SEO foundation, excellent analytical and content capabilities, sound judgement and a willingness to keep learning. As this is a highly collaborative role, we are looking for someone who enjoys being part of an in‑person team environment and can be present in our Copenhagen office multiple days per week.
