Following our acquisition of Active Key, we are looking for a Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our medical and hygienic hardware portfolio. In your first year, you will establish portfolio coherence across multiple international channels and markets, defining what we sell and why, mastering our SKU strategy, and bridging German engineering with our commercial teams. Key Responsibilities: You will be part of our Product Management, working alongside your 4 colleagues, while reporting directly to our Head of Product Management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering, marketing, and commercial teams across Europe Portfolio Architecture & SKU Strategy: Establish clear segmentation and tiering across the medical portfolio, mapping what we sell and why for clinical users and buyers across four channels and more than a dozen markets. Own the market-by-market SKU matrix (layouts, connectivity, finishes, certifications). Product Master Data: Act as the single source of truth for all product data, technical specifications, product descriptions, attributes, and compliance documentation across internal functions and external channel partners. Lifecycle Governance: Run the portfolio review cadence to manage structured SKU rationalization, phase-in/phase-out timelines, end-of-life (EOL) decisions, and migration paths for existing customers. Engineering & Commercial Interface: Serve as the two-way bridge with our German engineering team: translating clinical market realities and customer needs into functional requirements, while bringing technical feasibility, costs, and manufacturing capabilities back to sales and marketing. Clinical Discovery & Healthcare Requirements (PRDs): Conduct fieldwork across hospitals and healthcare environments to observe infection control and workstation realities (shared terminals, mobile carts/WOWs, virtual desktops). Translate these user workflows, user needs, and compliance requirements into structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). Commercial Ownership & Business Cases: Author and own the financial business cases for all portfolio updates and introductions, including market opportunity sizing, pricing logic, margin targets, and sales volume forecasts. Go-To-Market Alignment: Partner with the rest of the departments to ensure our product portfolio and value proposition are clearly articulated to channel partners and clinical customers. What we are looking for: Hardware Product Management: Min. 3 years of product management experience managing physical products or hardware portfolios through their complete lifecycle, from concept and launch to phase-out. Portfolio & Variant Management: Practical experience managing variant-rich product lines across multiple B2B sales channels and international markets, including SKU rationalization, portfolio mapping, and master data accuracy. Healthcare or Clinical Context: Prior experience in medical devices, clinical IT, healthcare environments, or relevant B2B/public sector hardware is strongly preferred. Commercial & Financial Acumen: Strong business mindset with hands-on experience modeling business cases, analyzing product margins, and defining pricing structures. User Discovery & Workflow Analysis: Practical experience conducting field discovery, observing end-user friction in real environments, and synthesizing findings into functional requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build trust and work constructively with technical engineering teams while representing commercial realities. Languages & Travel: Fluent in English, with professional working proficiency in German as a strong advantage; open to international travel to our other offices & production sites (Germany and Asia), and clinical customer sites across key markets.
