About the position

Solvexis Consult is looking for an experienced Risk Coordinator to support a pharmaceutical project during turnover, commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV).

You will coordinate the daily preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), conduct assessments for low- and medium-risk activities, and support the assessment of high-risk work.

The role combines structured risk management with an active presence on site. Working closely with workstream leads, technical disciplines and Permit-to-Work and LOTO Coordinators, you will help ensure that activities are properly assessed, planned and executed safely.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily RAMS activities and following up on outstanding tasks.
  • Facilitating risk assessments across multiple workstreams, including conducting low- and medium-risk assessments and supporting high-risk activities.
  • Reviewing method statements, safe systems of work and task-specific risk assessments.
  • Supporting workstream leads in identifying, evaluating and reducing operational, process safety and EHS risks during turnover and CQV.
  • Participating in daily work coordination and planning meetings.
  • Supporting the review of Permit-to-Work documentation and associated risk assessments.
  • Working closely with electrical, mechanical, LOTO and Permit-to-Work Coordinators to support safe commissioning and qualification activities.
  • Conducting site walks to support risk assessments and maintain a visible EHS presence.
  • Providing practical guidance on hazard identification, safe working practices and compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Checking the quality and completeness of risk management and Control of Work documentation.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications and experience

We expect that you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, or a closely related discipline.
  • A strong background in EHS management.
  • Experience from pharmaceutical projects during CQV and/or start-up.
  • Experience in Process Safety Management, including hazard identification and risk reduction.
  • Practical experience facilitating risk assessments and reviewing RAMS.
  • A sound understanding of Control of Work, Permit-to-Work systems and LOTO.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, EHS expectations and GMP environments.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary construction, commissioning and turnover teams.
  • Knowledge of digital project information platforms such as EIDA or equivalent engineering and document management systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to translate risk requirements into practical site guidance.

What we offer

At Solvexis, you will be supported throughout your assignment through structured onboarding, administrative support, documentation assistance and regular follow-up.

You will join a pharmaceutical project where your contribution directly supports safe working practices and coordination across technical disciplines.

Employment terms will be agreed based on your qualifications, experience and the conditions of the assignment.
