Marine Coordinator

Short Description

Are you a marine operations professional who can plan, coordinate and report on a busy auxiliary fleet? We are looking for a Marine Superintendent in Rødbyhavn, Denmark, to support marine operations, floating assets, anchor handling and logistics, working closely with the Waterboss team, vessels and site management.

Function Description

As Marine Superintendent you play a key role in the coordination and execution of marine support activities. Together with the Waterboss team you plan and coordinate the auxiliary fleet: towing, anchor handling, work harbour movements and offshore logistics. You keep communication open between the dredger, installation pontoons, support vessels, crew and the project team.

You supervise the maintenance and positioning of navigation buoys so work zones stay clearly marked and navigation stays safe. You organise daily toolbox meetings, support crew changes, fuel supply and spare parts handling, and monitor marine traffic in and around the project site and work harbour. You check and assist with daily reporting for the auxiliary fleet, flag operational or safety issues early and propose practical solutions.

The role reports to the Marine Work Vessel Coordinator. It is a hands-on operations, planning and reporting position on a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, based in Rødbyhavn.

Requirements

• Experience in dredging or marine operations, harbour logistics and/or mooring operations
• Knowledge of marine navigation, anchor handling, floating pipeline systems and logistics
• Familiarity with navigation buoys and their maintenance
• Able to lead and communicate clearly with multinational crews
• Knowledge of safety regulations and experience leading toolbox meetings
• Physically fit and willing to work in an offshore / project environment
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• EU passport required
• STCW (sea survival, first aid) or similar marine qualifications are an advantage; courses can be arranged on the project
