CRANE PREPARATION ENGINEER (onshore) M/F Job title: CRANE PREPARATION ENGINEER (onshore) M/F Contract type: Permanent contract Contractual hours: Full time HSE Responsibilities Establish and maintain a strong safety culture in line with TEPDK and NorSPIE HSE requirements and rules. Ensure application of QHSE regulations and procedures. Contribute to hazard analyses, incident investigations, root cause failure analyses, and process incidents. Advise hierarchy on QHSE issues or opportunities and propose corrective solutions. Main Functions Contribute to adherence to the stipulated GMC scope of services and improve performance of all Technical KPIs, preparations, backlog control planning, and equipment availability/reliability. Take charge of crane work orders, ensuring accurate detailed technical elements during preparations. Ensure work orders are accurately resourced, all materials, tools, and services identified and pre-planned in CMIMS for execution at site. Review procedures/work instructions and ensure adaptability; review functional locations and related work order lists to ensure all outstanding work in the concerned package/system considered during preparations and planning. Ensure that permit to work are properly prepared in line with defined procedures and ready ahead of execution deadlines (typically 5 weeks to start date). Ensure compliance with best preparation standard practices and TEPDK principles and guidelines, minimizing unapproved crane work orders under scope of responsibility, particularly critical to safety and production (defined WOs priorities, SECE, vital equipment, etc.). Maintain a threshold of ≤ 5% of the total open work order count, per GMC KPI, under the frame of responsibilities. Use PM04 preparations guideline to define daily task priorities; verify higher priority client requests with GMC Mechanical Preparations – Team Lead as needed. Profile Technical Preparation and Site Support. Minimum Experience 6 years or more. Required Authorisations and Skills Good knowledge of planning and CMIMS tools (preferably SAP based), Evision permit systems and related tools/resources. Computer literacy, proficiency with preparations tools, ability to work in a multicultural organization, and strong presentation and communication skills.
