Vacant PhD fellowships at the Department of Law, University of Southern Denmark - for Denmark

Overview At the Department of Law, one or more PhD fellowships will be available as of January 1, 2027 or by further agreement. The place of work is at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense or in Esbjerg. The PhD fellowship is in jurisprudence with special interests in private law, health law, tax law, and law and AI. Responsibilities Conduct original research and prepare a PhD thesis within a three‑year employment period. Participate in the active research environment of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. Obtain extensive academic knowledge by participating in relevant PhD courses. Teach certain courses at the law studies, in Danish and/or English. Demonstrate commitment and visibility towards the department, both internally and externally, and contribute positively to the department’s working environment and ongoing operation. Qualifications Completed a relevant Master’s programme with appropriate academic qualifications. Optional practical experience in subject areas relevant to the proposed research project. Ability to teach in Danish and/or English.
