Associate Vice President, Digital Solutions, Processes & AI
Lead our global digital, AI, and process transformation agenda within People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs for Novo Nordisk, driving innovations that span from intelligent automation to responsible AI adoption. This is your opportunity to reimagine Global People Services & Workforce Enablement at enterprise scale – where strategic vision meets cutting-edge technology to create lasting impact.
Your new role
As Associate Vice President of Digital Solutions, Innovation & AI, you will own the end-to-end design and execution of Novo Nordisk's global digital, AI, and process design agenda within People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs (POCA). This is a role where strategic thinking meets hands-on transformation – where you will set the vision for how our processes work across the enterprise while ensuring they are digitally enabled, automated, and AI-supported.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining and leading the global digital, AI, and process design agenda for POCA, translating strategic priorities into a coherent multi-year roadmap with measurable business and employee outcomes
- Owning the Global POCA Process Design team and framework, ensuring end-to-end process standardization, digital-first design, and continuous optimization across the employee lifecycle
- Driving digital and AI enablement of POCA processes, identifying and scaling use cases that improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and employee experience through automation and AI-supported decision support
- Acting as the primary strategic interface between POCA and Enterprise IT, ensuring technology solutions meet business needs while maintaining clear accountability for process design versus platform ownership
- Establishing governance frameworks for POCA process design, digital solutions, and responsible AI adoption, ensuring compliance with legal, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Leading and developing high-performing teams across Digital Solutions, Digital Delivery, AI Transformation, and Digital Learning, building future-ready capabilities across the organization
- Holding accountability for overall HR Tech spend, with decision-making authority on process design, digital priorities, and AI roadmaps within enterprise governance
Your new department
In People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs, you will be part of a team that enhances employee engagement and attracts top talent to ensure Novo Nordisk remains a premier choice for exceptional individuals. Together, we foster an inclusive workplace culture that empowers individuals to thrive and supports our mission to make a positive impact on people's lives.
You will be part of the senior leadership team in Global P&O Services & Workforce Enablement, specifically leading our Digital Solutions, Innovation & AI function. This is a newly established strategic role with enterprise-wide visibility, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global P&O Services & Workforce Enablement. You will work at the intersection of people strategy, process excellence, and technology innovation – partnering closely with P&O Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, Workforce Intelligence, and Enterprise IT to drive our digital and AI transformation journey.
