Your Role In this role you will lead medical activities across Emerging Markets and Mid‑Sized European Markets, with accountability for developing and executing the regional medical strategy and plans. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across medical affairs, including evidence generation, scientific communication, insight utilization, external expert engagement, and competitive analysis. You will bring deep knowledge of market dynamics, healthcare systems, and access pathways, and partner cross‑functionally with commercial, global medical affairs, and global R&D to support the successful development and commercialization of LEO Pharma’s portfolio. Please note, this is a remote based position with both domestic and international travel required. Key responsibilities Leading the medical function across Mid‑Sized European Markets and Emerging Markets, ensuring successful strategic and operational delivery across all medical affairs activities. Developing and executing regional medical strategies and plans in alignment with business priorities, lifecycle plans, launch strategies, and Global Medical Affairs objectives. Providing expert medical and scientific leadership through deep understanding of therapeutic areas, unmet needs, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Leading external scientific engagement and representing LEO Pharma with key experts, stakeholders, and at scientific congresses. Overseeing execution of medical affairs plans, including budgets, resources, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Driving medical excellence across markets, including adoption of global processes, publication planning, and use of KPIs to measure impact and effectiveness. Ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance, pharmacovigilance, and medical information across the region. Partnering cross‑functionally with commercial, local market teams, global medical affairs, and Global R&D to support evidence generation, product development, launch, and patient access. Your Qualifications Fluency in English, verbal and written. Medical Doctor with Final Signatory status. Significant Medical Affairs experience at a senior level, in a comparable organization. Experience in dermatology and/or biologics preferred. Deep knowledge of drug development, safety, regulatory requirements, market access, and reimbursement. Proven launch experience within a commercial healthcare/pharmaceutical environment. Demonstrated ability to lead medical strategy and deliver results in a highly regulated setting. Inclusive leadership style with advanced communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills. Commercial awareness and ability to balance scientific integrity with business objectives. Proven cross‑functional collaboration across medical, commercial, legal, regulatory, and communications teams. Experience in building and managing relationships with Key External Experts and other external stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex scientific and clinical information clearly to diverse audiences. Commitment to integrity, compliance, collaboration, and high performance.
