Rolling Stock Engineer

Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Rolling Stock Engineer to join our team! This role could be performed either in Denmark or remotely.

The FS Program is a migration project of the S-Bane network (greater Copenhagen area) to a driverless system, involving upgrade of CBTC from GoA2 to GoA4, procurement of Supporting System for driverless operation (SCADA, Emergency stop buttons, PIS / PAS, Data Comm, CCTV, Intrusion detection) and procurement of new Rolling Stock.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Approval of technical requirements and deliverables for preliminary and detailed design milestones :
• Verification of supplier’s design choices in compliance with Customer requirements : ensure supplier’s solution complies with contractual requirements and maintain compliance matrix accordingly.
• Review of Supplier’s deliverables
• Interface management with other projects (e.g. CBTC)
• Review of test specifications, V&V documents
• Contribution of the rolling stock project on integration activities under DSB responsibility
• Report status and issues to Project manager on all technical matters.
