Job descriptionLeading Sales and Development Activity. Identify and approach all sector customers and potential customers. Leading European GEP business focus Attend industry events to promote the services of SGS. Actively promote the image capability and integrity of the company to the Product-line Customers. Work with NR Marketing Manager to produce publicity materials and to use global media tools to distribute regular internal and external news. To search for additional opportunities and offer new and increased services to existing / new clients. Key objective : To find new business and increase our revenue activity for this sector. Business and Service Development. Project manage new and existing clients that require improved or customized services. Work closely with Crop Science Country Business Managers to provide consistent delivery of services across the product lines and regions. Collaborate with International Sales / Business Development Managers to provide one Customer facing Global Team approaching the markets. Identify geographic services gaps and work with Global and Regional Management teams to find new opportunities and implement the full Portfolio Regionally for GEP, including possible acquisitions. Investigate promote and help implement new service innovations. Help to develop regional strategy and Business Development Programs. Standardization Help all to work continually on best service solutions to clients (voice of customer supporting). Provide Key Account Management to designated customers who require specific management . Provide customized service proposals (with Team Support) as may be required. Troubleshooter / problem solver Standardize commercial approach to Regional Key Accounts Fast Reaction / Availability Statistical data / evaluation of results / ability to present facts to key accounts. Voice of the client in SGS Others Activities More than 10 years’ experience in Crop Sciences / Consultancy / TIC Industry Commercial Roles. Educated to Degree, Master Level. Proven track record on commercial and sales development. High reputation as a collaborator with Senior Industry Players. Industry Expertise / Vision. Knowledge of GLP Crop Sciences Operations and Testing Requirements. Leader and People Manager. Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills required. High Level English Language required. French, German or Spanish highly beneficial. Ability to work in a demanding high stress environment. Ability to Inspire people Internal and External to SGS. Ability to make long term business relationships. High Level Communicator and negotiator. Natural ability to close deals and take tough decisions. Challenger always looking for an opportunity. Courageous Self-Starter. Good collaborator within an industry leading environment. Requirement to regularly travel Internationally. During weekends and holidays may occur for events etc. Location : Flexible within Europe.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifying existing and future market activities.
Continually strive to find new and improve ways of delivering service to the Regional Customer base.
Work closely with Study Directors Technical Governance and NR Country Business Managers to identify training and operational improvement opportunities in all countries of operation.
Act as one window / or key point contact for the client, when required.
Other projects that may be decided from time to time by the Vice President – NR Agri Commodities / Crop Sciences.
