IT Compliance & Regulatory Tech Manager

Coinify is looking for an IT Compliance & Regulatory Tech Manager to take ownership of how regulatory requirements are translated into operational reality across our fintech and crypto platform.

In this role, you will lead Coinify’s technical compliance agenda, working at the intersection of regulation, risk, and engineering. You will play a central role in operationalising MiCA and DORA, implementing Travel Rule solutions, and ensuring that IT controls, access governance, and risk frameworks are embedded into daily workflows — not just documented on paper.

You will work closely with Engineering, Compliance, Product, and Operations and help shape how Coinify builds compliant systems in practice.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning regulation into concrete technical and operational solutions.

🧩 Your role and responsibilities

• Own Coinify’s IT compliance and regulatory implementation landscape

• Drive operationalisation of MiCA and DORA, translating regulatory requirements into technical and organisational controls

• Lead Travel Rule implementation (including integrations with 21Analytics and Trust Network) in close collaboration with Engineering

• Own and develop access governance, logging, monitoring, and control frameworks

• Support GDPR risk management and data protection controls in collaboration with internal stakeholders

• Maintain Coinify’s GRC setup (Vanta), including risk registers, controls, assessments, and documentation

• Work hands-on with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Operations to embed compliance into system design and daily processes

• Ensure regulatory and operational risks are clearly understood, prioritised, and converted into concrete actions across the business

• Act as the bridge between compliance requirements and technical implementation

  
  

👤 Who we’re looking for

• A genuine interest in fintech and crypto

• Experience within IT compliance, regulatory implementation, risk management, or technical compliance roles (preferably in fintech or financial services)

• Strong understanding of ICT risk, internal controls, access governance, and operational risk frameworks

• Practical experience translating regulation into technical or operational solutions

• Comfortable working closely with engineers and technical teams

• Structured, pragmatic, and hands-on mindset

• Professional maturity and sound judgement

• Based in Denmark and able to maintain regular on-site presence in Copenhagen

• Relevant higher education in engineering, IT, finance, law, audit, or similar

• Danish resident only

• On-site presence required at least three days per week

• Flexibility when needed
