Our team in Quality and Safety in Development is now looking for Product Safety Specialist specialized in electrical systems to help us with our development of new and innovative solutions for the energy transition.
How to contribute to our vision
As an Electrical Product Safety Specialist , you will be directly involved in the development process for new wind turbines, working closely with the project teams to create inherently safe designs.
You will focus on upholding Siemens's high standard for safety and compliance both contractually and ethically.
Your assistance to our offshore electrical designers and production crews will help ensure that our products are compliant with relevant directives and standards. You will be given a great deal of responsibility and opportunity to work globally with our development sites.

We are now looking for an Electrical product safety and compliance lead with a passion for safety and risk management to join our Product Safety in Development team in Brande, Denmark.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change.
We imagine that you have an electrical engineering degree within a relevant area or similar technical education, but in case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
You should ideally have 2 to 4 years of experience working with Product safety or be specialized in electrical system.
Experience with electrical systems in production will be beneficial.
Experience in the wind industry is not a requirement but a eagerness to learn combined with the ability to handle complex environmental, health and safety issues is required.
Furthermore knowledge about the following standards and regulations is desirable :
We are also looking for a highly structural person with a team player mindset that can hold their ground while thinking solutions oriented.
Strong communication skills and excellent English skills (both orally and in writing) is a necessity in dealing with the different stakeholders.
As you will be working closely with our other departments in our Brande office knowledge of Danish will be considered highly beneficial.
